Open Positions

Position Title: Director of Commercial Development, Full Time

Location: San Diego, California

Position Summary: Direct and expand a multidisciplinary team to integrate rare biomarkers into diagnostic assays for oncology, prenatal screening and Covid-19. The position requires high technical and interpersonal skills as well as experience with diagnostic LDT & FDA approved test development.

Responsibilities Include: Direct liquid biopsy commercialization program and team to deliver products to market.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. plus at least 2 years of commercialization experience and outstanding demonstrated capabilities to lead through example in highly a technical environment to obtain results. Knowledge of molecular biology including DNA, RNA, NGS work, cell biology, including ICC, cell morphology, cell culture, flow cytometry, FISH analysis including experience with liquid biopsy including tumor cells, CTC, and cell free DNA, blood based diagnostic analysis is a plus. Experience in liquid biopsy, strong molecular and cellular background in trouble shooting and assay development are important. The position also requires the expansion of the patent estate and insight into the diagnostic assay markets. You might not know everything, but you know how to find the information and make it work. The position is very versatile and requires a can-do attitude.

Position Title: Senior Research Associate Molecular Biology, Full Time

Location: San Diego, California

Application Deadline: May 1st, 2019 or until position filled

Position Summary: Development of cell-based diagnostics test molecular integration for advanced analysis of patients with complex diseases.

Responsibilities Include: FISH analysis, RT-PCR, NGS and more

Required Qualifications: BS or MS with 2 years of academic or industry experience. Knowledge and hands-on experience in NGS library prep, PCR and qPCR analysis, DNA and RNA isolation techniques, immunofluorescence analysis. The work includes robotics, operation of laboratory robotics, and patient sample screening. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, biotech start-up environment with diverse tasks and rapidly growing responsibilities.

Position Summary: Development of an automated method to capture and document microscope images and data.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with a microscope expert to develop a flowchart of image processing and implement software based automation into the workflow.
  • Automate microscope imaging and processing using Auto Hotkey or Elephant Automation program www.elephantautomation.com

Required Qualifications:

  • Motivated Student
  • Interest in programming
  • Experience using a microscope
  • Programing experience is a plus
